One Day More!!

Ok... we're at about 12 1/2 hours and counting- a little more than half a day. I'm so excited!!! And scared, and happy, and worried... you get the picture. But mostly I'm excited to hold my precious son in my arms and finally meet him. I've kept pretty busy all day so that's helped ease a lot of the anxiety. I could not sleep last night and don't suppose I'll get much sleep tonight either. Anyway I decided to get up at 5:30 since I was just lying in bed with my mind going non-stop. I ended up going through all our old pictures and videos. I got laundry started and the house picked up and then took Robert to work. After we got home from work me and Baily showered and got ready as fast as we could and I met my friend Janel (her blog is on my links) at Chili's where she treated me to lunch. It was great to see her... it's been about a year. We met through a BFL website and have been blogging buddies since. She's so awesome and such a great example and friend to me. So that was fun to have lunch with her... and delicious. After lunch I went to my Aunt's house where I was supposed to get a call from my mom that I was really excited about since I haven't talked to her in a while. She must have got put on lock down or something dumb because she never called. I was so sad and disappointed and I know she was too. I just hope I get the chance to talk to her soon after I have the baby. After we got home Baily and I took a nice long nap and then I took her to the park. We got a break from the rain today so I was finally able to take her. It was a little chilly though so we didn't stay too long. I just wanted to be able to take her 'cause who knows how long it will be before I can take her again. Since we got home I've just been doing laundry and trying to get everything ready... Baily's clothes set out, a bag of stuff for her to do while at the hospital. I'm waiting for my last load of laundry so I can get packed and I should be all ready to go. I made lasagne but I'm really craving a McDonald's cheeseburger and fries and a huge Dr. Pepper since it's my last soda for at least a year. I don't drink soda while I'm nursing and I'm already missing it!! Hopefully I can find enough change. Robert's gonna give me and Baily a blessing tonight so I know everything will go well. I'm sure I won't get any sleep but it's all good. I can handle one among many to come of sleepless nights. Gerald and Rachelle are on there way here so they'll be helping us out with Baily and bringing her to the hospital tomorrow morning. I've gotten lots of sweet calls from friends today and I feel so loved and so blessed. Next post I'll be a mom to a new sweet son! Wahoo!!!
