So long, farewell...

Yesterday I was in a weird funk all day. I just felt really out of it... spacey and air-headed. I didn't feel very well but I wasn't exactly sick. I had a hard time focusing on anything. It was weird. I wasted a lot of time downloading music on my new phone and experimenting with it. I really didn't get much of anything productive done even though I had time and I'm kicking myself for being so lazy. I really need someone to kick me in the rear and tell me to get with it! This laziness has got to stop.

Anyway, last night was the end of 2 sports seasons for our family. It was Andre's last football game and Robert's last softball games. We didn't go to Andre's game because we never know if he's even gonna play or not and also they barely had enough players for Robert's team so he really needed to be there. Sadly they lost both games. It was a tough season for them but I think for the most part they had fun. Robert didn't have a good hitting night at all so that was a bummer. But it ended up being a pretty fun night. Lots of the wives and kids showed up since it was the last game so there were lots of friends to visit with for me and tons of kids for Baily to play with. She was still feeling icky so she wasn't quite herself and pretty fussy. But she had fun nonetheless. She also had a fun time making me look like a horrible mom by running away and onto the field during the game. Robert had to quit playing to run out and get her and bring her back to me. I was so embarrassed and felt like the worst mom ever. After that little episode though it was better. The little guy in the pictures with her is our friend's son Calvin. He's a little over a month younger than her and they've been betrothed since he was born. Isn't he a cutie? She had so much fun playing and getting filthy as always and of course begging food from everybody. It doesn't matter if I bring everything in the world for her or buy her something at the concession stand- she wants whatever someone else is having. It was a lot of fun last night... even though Team Blue Brick wasn't very good. I guess they're already thinking about starting another league next month so we'll see how that goes.

After the games were over Robert dropped me and Baily off and he went to Barro's with the guys. I put Baily to sleep and lied down with her since I was afraid to leave her alone because she's got so much congestion in her throat it's hard for her to breathe. After Robert got home I was starving and craving Jack in the Box so I made a late night JITB run. Not a good idea. Talk about heart burn! I couldn't sleep no matter how hard I tried so I ended up reading my book until 2:30 in the morning. It's so good. Needless to say I'm pretty tired today. But I won't let this day get away without doing at least a couple of things that are productive.

You're 8 months pregnant, allow yourself some down time because once the baby is here it's all over! Maybe I should get pregnant so I can get some down time? Nah.....five months of puking then bedrest isn't worth it. :) Enjoy the time you have while you have it. I can't wait for your baby shower! Yay!
