um...hi. remember me?

Wednesday July 9, 2008
So yeah... you know the story. Things have been crazy, I've been out of town, I've been lazy- blah, blah, blah. I have just been in a blogging rut and have even been slacking on my picture taking- well maybe not compared to others but compared to how many pictures I usually take, yeah- slacker here. So I think I'm over it and hopefully the rut is gone. I just need someone to give me a swift kick in the bum. I'll be working on catching up on things I need to blog about but in the meantime I'm gonna make another fresh start and be back to blogging daily. I almost made it to my goal of having one full year of a post for every day but instead of feeling overwhelmed at trying to get it all caught up and stuff I'll just say good job Sarah at how well I did and not get down on what I didn't and try again starting today. So today was a pretty good day. Yesterday I finally got my house picked up and in order after the craziness from getting back from a long vacation. So today I was tired and really wanted to just take it easy. Some people may call it lazy, and honestly I was a lil' bit of that, but I enjoyed my easy peasy day. I had fun spending a lot of quality time with my kiddos- playing, laughing, dancing, tickling... good stuff. You can see my super cute kiddos in the slide show below. I'm pretty sure they're the cutest kids ever. I also started and read a few chapters in a book I've been wanting to read forever that my awesome lil' bro Alex got for me- Sense And Sensibility. I love reading but I never make time for it. So instead of over-analyzing and thinking too much about the pros and cons of starting and reading this particular book and what I should read before it and avoiding my crazy thought process of making a simple decision, I just started reading. I think I'll like it- if I can keep myself convinced that it really is ok for me to read a book and not use that time for something more productive that I don't do anyway. So anyway... sorry for the rambling. Tonight after a scrumptious dinner of chicken enchiladas and spanish rice (something about being away from home and not cooking really makes you enjoy home-cooked meals so much more), it was time for my all-time fave show, So You Think You Can Dance. I was only able to watch the first half though since I had an appointment with our Bishop but don't you worry... the 2nd half is recorded and just waiting to be watched by my eager eyes tomorrow. I have to say I'm not as crazy about this season's competitors as the previous years but I still love the show and the dancing so much. Katee and Joshua are my faves for sure and a close second would be Chelsea and Mark. And I think my overall fave person is probably Joshua. He's just so sweet and humble and wow... I just love him. Anywho, I was pretty apprehensive and anxious about this interview our Bishop scheduled for us as there's a lot of shaking up going in our ward with releasings and callings of most of the ward Auxiliary Presidencies. So I was pretty sure one of us was getting a calling and I was right. However, all I can say for now, (it's a secret ya' know), is that I was totally flabbergasted by the calling that came. And that's all I have to say about that for now. More on that on Sunday so stay tuned. Oh and Robert and I also got asked to give talks in church on Sunday. I'm actually kind of excited about that even though it's a little overwhelming. I always love how much I learn when I prepare a talk for church. The topic is honesty and integrity and Robert has to talk about being honest with our fellow men and I get to talk about honesty and integrity with ourselves and with God. It's a good one. It feels good to be blogging again. Now if only I can wave a magic wand and all that I want to be caught up would be done. Until I find that wand though stay tuned and be patient... be very, very patient. Love you all!

Hey Sarah,
Me and Carlos are giving talks this Sunday to... Pure Religion is my topic and Cahrity is Carlos...
This will be our second time speaking but our first in our new ward so it's scarrrrrrrrrrrryyyy for me. I don't do very good at public talking. I'm okay with kids but adults that's a differen't story. I'm second counselor in Primary so I got use to talking to kids.
Well, good luck on your talks...
