Laidback Day

Friday January 2, 2009
Yesterday was a very laidback day which is nice but I really miss our family tradition of Friday night pizza and the excitement in the air of Fridays, the start of a weekend and having daddy home. Boy I miss my husband. Only 2 more days 'till I see him!! So yesterday we just sorta lounged and hung out and ate a lot. I pretty much finished up my January Ensign (so good and really awesome at helping build your testimony of the Prophet Joseph and the Doctrine & Covenants and got me excited to be studying them this year) and so then I will be on to reading my other books. I'm really trying to not watch so much tv and read more. It can be hard though when I've got 2 little boogers who for some reason hate when I read most of the time and want me to just sit there and watch them. I made Baily's favorite last night, broccoli cheese soup. I am worried she might be getting sick. She doesn't act sick really but she's pretty horse and she swallows like she has a sore throat. I pray she doesn't get sick before our big trip- that will not be fun. But other than me being worried she was sick I really enjoyed her yesterday. She really can be a sweet little thing when she wants to. Grandma Patty got her a blanket sleeper- footy pj's- and she was so excited. She was like "mom- I get baby jammies like Joaquin." She decided she wanted to watch her Dora DVD from the "libary" on her "'puter" (the mini dvd player) next to her Uncle Eyan. She loves her Uncle Eyan. It's so sweet. And then when it was her bedtime she was just so delightful and didn't put up a fight at all. Sweet! That's a great way to end the day;)
