In case you haven't noticed, I had a blogging hiatus- AGAIN! But pretty much this time it wasn't really due to my laziness. We have been without internet for a while (talk about cutting off my life support!) so I wasn't able to. I got surprised with a trip to Wisconsin to see my family up here so that's where I'm at now and wahoo- they have the Internet so I'll try to get caught up with what I can. I can't wait to catch up on all your blogs as well!
Besides the pictures I'll be updating with here's a few things I wanted to mention:
*WAHOO! for my Joshua winning SYTYCD!!! I wanted it to be him from the beginning and I wasn't sure he would win but was one excited momma when he did. Go Joshua!
*I've been LOVING the Olympics. My dad instilled a love for the Olympics in me since I was a kid and I've always loved the Summer Olympics so much more than the Winter ones. Have not this year's Olympic Games been so incredibly awesome?! I've definitely been a tv addict with the Olympics since they began. And the Opening Ceremonies... oh man! TO DIE FOR! I cried most of the way through it because it touched me so much.
*Life is really hard when you're really poor.
*Tithing is a commandment that truly pays with blessings in abundance. How grateful I am for the principle of tithing.
*Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder. My husband left on the 11th for Florida for job training for 2 weeks and I MISS him SOOOO much! Man I love that guy!
*How VERY grateful I am for my dad and step-mom to have flown me and my kids out here and for all that they've done for me while I'm here. I love them so much and am so grateful for this awesome trip!
There's so much I know I've missed out on by not being able to blog daily but I'll take a few breaths and it will all be ok.

Yay you're back!! Don't you know I go through withdrawals when you're gone!! How fun to get a great trip from your dad...how nice of them!! I love your blessings list!

Hi Sarah - Hope you have a great trip and that the 2 weeks that your hubby is gone will fly by. I hate it when my husband is gone so I can relate. I hope all is well...see you when you get back. :o)

glad to see you're back...not having the internet nowdays can kill a person! (that and not having a cell phone...hmm, that might not exactly be a good thing here)
