Once again... youtube is being dumb and it won't let me share videos on my blog. That's really annoying. Anywho... here's some videos I wanted to share.

So apparently Baily loves SYTYCD as much as I do and whenever "her" dancing show comes on she runs and puts her skirt and "dancing shoes" on and dances right along with the dancers. This time she had her daddy to partner her. A girl after my own heart... *sigh.

Pres. Hinckley Quotes
"In His grand design, wen God first created man, He created a duality of the sexes. The ennobling expression of that duality is found in marriage. One individual is complementary to the other. As Paul stated, 'Neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord' (1 Corinthians 11:11). There is no other arrangement that meets the divine purposes of the Almighty. Man and woman are His creations. Their duality is His design. Their complementary relationships and functions are fundamental to His purposes. One is incomplete without the other." GBH
"I come to you with a plea that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life we try to 'accentuate the positive.' I am asking that we look a little deeper for good, that we still our voices of insult and sarcasm, that we more generously compliment virtue and effort." GBH

Emotional Workout
Monday June 2, 2008
All I can really remember about this day is that I started off with great intentions and motivation to start off June as a fresh new month. That's how it started but not ended. I went to the gym first thing and it felt good to be back. I felt pumped and motivated and ready to kick butt. I started off with a KILLER leg workout- I was sore for a week and could barely walk. During the middle though I started getting really tired and weak and super dizzy and light-headed. As I started on my calf workout I was pretty sure I was gonna pass out at any minute so I ran outside and sat down. Just as I was about to black out, the gym owner who's a super nice guy, caught me and got me a cold drink of water and a cold towel to put on my back. He's a really awesome guy. Anyway he was telling me how proud he was of me and how he can tell I'm doing so awesome and digging deep and he always tells me how good I'm looking as well and how he can tell I'm losing weight. It makes me feel so good. So after that little chat and after he went back inside I think my emotional channel was opened and I sat there and had a good cry. It was embarrassing but it felt good in a weird way. So I must say that was the emotional workout I've ever had. After I felt a little better I tried to go in and finish up my workout but there was no way I could so I went home and barely made it. I could barely push the gas pedal I was so weak. So with that start I was left weak and feeling weird emotionally all day and pretty much didn't get anything done. And that set the tone for the week unfortunately.

Sweet Sunday
Sunday June 1, 2008
From what I remember this was a pretty sweet Sunday. In the morning my sweet Relief Society President came over to go over some issues we're dealing with and to help out. What a wonderful, compassionate woman! I just love her so much and can feel her love for me and all the sisters in our ward. She later brought us some really good marinated chicken for us to make for dinner along with corn and 4, 5 gallon jugs of water. I can't tell you how much this touched me. It was very humbling but I felt so grateful and loved. Emely and Bryan stayed at our house while me and the fam went to church. It was the first Fast Sunday we've actually been to in our ward and it was great. The Spirit was strong and I felt that I should bear my testimony of my Savior. As I did I just felt this overwhelming feeling of love- I felt like I could hear Him saying, "Sarah I know what you're going through and I know how you feel. I'm proud of you for trying your hardest to be faithful and know that I love you." That feeling continued so strongly throughout the rest of church and the day. I will never forget those feelings and how grateful I am for the love of my Savior for me. After church we just chillaxed for a while and got dinner started. Emely's fiance D came over so I could take some pictures for their wedding announcements. D hates pictures so he wasn't exactly happy about this process but even with D being a grump about it I think they turned out pretty good. I love Emely and D seems like such a great guy. I'm so excited and so happy for them. After the pictures we came home and ate dinner and then Emely, D and Bryan left. And I really don't remember much after that. But what a sweet Sunday it was filled with many blessings from on High.

Summer Fun
Saturday May 31, 2008
This was a fun Saturday. We know we didn't want to stay stuck in the house all day and wanted to do something fun but cheap. So Robert organized a bbq with his family at his mom's house. So after we got everything packed and loaded we headed to Mesa. We made a quick stop at my MIL's then our little went swimming at Shepherd Pool. We wanted everyone in his family to come for our first swimming trip of the year but no one else was able to make it so we went ourselves. It was a lot of fun. Baily loves the water and that pool is just awesome- especially for kids. Joaquin loved it as well. We sat in the shallow end and he splashed his little heart out and just squealed with delight. I'm kicking myself for not taking any fun pictures but I need to get one of those waterproof disposable cameras for the swimming trips. Anyway, that was a lot of fun. After we were done there we stopped and got the brats and then went to my MIL's. We hung out there for a bit with Emely and D and waited for the rest of Robert's family to show up. Then Robert grilled up some good bbq- burgers, brats and hot dogs. It was good eatin'. After we were all filled we just hung out and visited for a while. Then when we left our niece Emely and nephew Bryan decided to come stay with us for the night. When we got home Emely rented National Treasure 2 and got us Taco Bell. Everyone fell asleep pretty early though and I stayed up finishing some stuff up for my calling. And that's it for a day filled with summer fun. Oh and here are some cute pics of my cute boy getting all messy eating a cookie and a toast- he loves these things!

A little bit of hope...
Friday May 30, 2008
I'm having a hard time remembering much of Friday so I'll just do what I can. Robert ended up taking the day off of work which was nice since I had to go into town for some things and that meant I wouldn't have to go all the way home then all the way back to pick him up and then all the way back home. The less amount of driving the better. He had a job interview that got postponed anyway so it was just better for him to take the whole day off. He needed it. So first we went and hung out at his mom's for a little bit. Then we took Joaquin to his Dr.'s appointment that ended up getting pushed back. So then we took Baily to Fiesta Mall to play in the kid's area (free entertainment) for a little while and then Robert dropped me off at my Aunt's as I had a planned phone call from my mom that day. He went to his job interview while I was at my Aunt's with my kids. I was a little worried when it took my mom so long to call but when she finally did I was so happy. It's always so great to hear her voice and talk to her after such a long time of not talking to her. Man I miss her so much. She sounded great and happy and that always does my heart good. After that Robert came and got us and we went back to his mom's for a little bit. Then we went and payed a bill and then took Joaquin to his 5 1/2 month check-up. He's doing great and is a healthy boy. He was like 18 lbs. 2 oz and I think about 26" or so (can't really remember for sure). But I do remember that he went down to about the 80th percentile for weight and up to the 75th for height. But all I care about is that he's healthy and he is. He only had 1 shot and he barely even fussed so that was nice. And as much as I'm trying to remember how the rest of the day went that's all I can remember.
