The old catching up routine again.

Yes... I've been a little bit (ok a lot bit) behind on the blogging scene. There's one word to explain this- Overwhelmed! I'm working on it though so here we go again with the whole catching up routine again.
Grandma Patty got Joaquin these adorable little moccasins (Sorry Grandma Brown... he never got to wear the ones you got him because they were too small:( ) and they fit him for about 2 or 3 weeks. They were sure cute while they lasted!
These are some cute little Indian dress-up outfits I made for my little brother Eyan and for Baily. They said they liked them but I've never seen them wear them. Oh well.We are officially Wisconsinites! Wahoo!
Baily became a Sunbeam in January (I can't believe it!) and she had her first Primary Activity. It was like a birthday party celebrating each kid. She was a little shy at first but ended up having a blast and loving it. Her first time at Primary I had to sit with her in Sharing Time but since then she's loved it and we've had no problems. I can't believe my baby girl's in Primary already!!
The Cardinals being in the Super Bowl was a big deal around here ... for us at least. We were so excited they made it that far and crushed that we lost but it was such a blast this season. Go Cardinals!!

I'm not sure when this was but isn't this the cutest boy ever?! I could just eat him up!
On February 6 was my step-mom Patty's birthday- her big 50th! We had a little family party with cake and gifts on the night of her birthday and then my dad and I threw her a little surprise party with more family the next day. I had to work but I'm glad everyone had fun. I love Patty so much and am so grateful I get to have her as another mom!
Next up it was my birthday. I spent the day shopping with Patty and my kids and brother Jensen and then that night we had pizza and cake and ice cream and gifts. I got some awesome stuff and my other family sent lots of cards and gifts and texts and phone calls. It was a great birthday and I felt so loved!
After that came my Poppa Bear's birthday. My dad LOVES presents. He was in such a hurry and so excited to open his presents on his birthday morning that he couldn't wait for the cake to cool down to be frosted so him and Baily frosted it and it didn't look so pretty. But it still tasted delicious. Then he got to open his gifts and he made out pretty good. I love my dad so, so much and am so glad that I get to live closer to him and be around him more than I've ever been my whole life. My dad rocks!
The weather has been warming up and we are LOVING it. I appreciate Spring so much more and am so excited for it to be her in all her glory! Once it started warming up Baily started begging for her own "big girl" bike. So we headed to Wally World and got her this little beauty. She rode it right away and even loves to wear her helmet. My baby's growing up way too fast! I'm excited for a lot of bike riding coming up!
Happy St. Patrick's Day from the cutest little Leprechauns you ever did see!
We had a beautiful day outside so we spent most of it out on the deck soaking it up. Baily loves to wear this dress (her "white Giselle [from the movie Enchanted] dress" that she had from last year for Beau's wedding) and Joaquin is displaying that he might just be a plumber when he grows up. He always is showing those cute cheekies and he ALWAYS only has one sock on. Love these kids!
Another beautiful day out brought us outside for kite flying (Baily's first time). The rest of the fam was out doing yard work and the whole neighborhood was out enjoying the beautiful weather. It was a gorgeous day and perfect for kite flying. Baily liked it for a while but then she was bored with it. At least she enjoyed it for some amount of time!Later on that very same day Baily got to play with her friend who just happens to be our neighbor and the same day, Amber. They had a blast and I hope they get to be good friends growing up. If only Baily wasn't so moody...
Later that night I had the rare and cherished opportunity to go on a hot date with my hot hubby. We dropped off the kids at our awesome new babysitters (so stoked about this!) and went to eat at a pizzeria (was ok) and then walked around while we waited for our very late movie to start. We walked by this pet store and saw this shark swimming around and it was so cool. We got ice cream (well I did anyway and it was SOOO good!) and then we played DDR (SO much fun!) and raced video game cars. After that we watched the movie Knowing with Nicholas Cage and it was pretty freaky and eerie. I'm not really sure what to make out of it. I just enjoyed some quality time with my man. He rocks my world and I love him Soo, SOOO, soo... so so much;)
I missed tons of things I would normally blog about and birthdays and pictures but like I may have mentioned before... I have been feeling a little overwhelmed. I'm sorry loyal readers but I promise to try to be a better blogger like I used to be;) And just to fill you in on what I can remember that I missed:
*Robert got a job for the same position he had, Work Force Supervisor, for Kohl's at their Collections Center in Menomonee Falls- about an hour north of here. We are SO grateful he got a job so quickly and it was just another testament to us that we were supposed to come here.
*I still work at Grand Geneva as a Banquet Server and it's pretty fun. We are really slow though right now so I only work like 1-3 shifts a week.
*We plan on moving into our new home by mid-May and are SO excited. It's my dad's old house right in front of the one he lives in now. Wahoo!
*We love it here and are way excited for Spring.
*I've been kicking butt with the Body-for-LIFE program and it feels great.
*We really, REALLY miss all our AZ family and my bro Beau and his wife and my new nephew Adley who I haven't got to meet yet and it's KILLING me! and my mom!
*Life is great!
