Today I could have used a swift kick in the butt. Usually on Mondays I'm a busy little bee getting my house back in order, doing laundry and sticking to my routine with preciseness. Not today. I spent way too much time on the computer, as you might tell, and not enough time doing my housekeeping, wife and mother duties. And because of that I felt guilty and because of that I was grouchy and irritable and was an even worse mom and so on and so forth. But I'm not gonna let it get me down. After Robert got home and we had dinner (we had Chinese and Baily made an attempt at using chopsticks as you can see and decided they were dumb) I was able to at least get my grocery list made, bills paid, budget made and get prepared to have a better and more productive, successful week. I'm so grateful for a husband who's sensitive and knows me enough to know when I need help and takes over for me. While he was in the bathroom though and I was doing my things Baily decided to fill a cup with water and drench her brother. Nice. Apparently though he didn't mind. I'm looking forward to getting back to my running and routine tomorrow. On the upside my prescriptions are working wonderfully and this is the most pain-free I've felt in I don't know how long. Hallelujah! Oh and here's a link I read about different sleep strategies for babies and toddlers. I so fit into the baby-centered approach- it was like reading my own story. It's not to say that I think it's the right approach but at least I don't feel like such a bad parent after reading it and it helps understanding more of my thought process. Somehow I've got to find a way to get over not being able to stand the crying so my boy will start sleeping in his own bed and all night. It's outta control. I just don't think I quite have the motivation I need yet. And that's all.

I'm glad you're feeling pain free again! You deserve to take a day off yesterday...lazy days are a MUST!! Yay for cranberry juice!
I am glad you are feeling better, sounds like not fun at all. Thanks for the advice on the baby boy, I am nervous I come from a family of all girls so this will be very new, but I am excited for a new little spirit.
You are actually right on time. We just sent them out yesterday so I will get yours out tomorrow. The shower is Oct 25 and she is having a girl. I am so excited and thank you so much for the comment. I have kinda been having a rough day so you just made my day!!
I'm way out of the loop. I haven't had a chance to go back and read all your posts but have you been sick? It's the pits to feel bad. I'm glad the pills are working. See, that's where I'm the opposite from you in mothering. I'm okay to let my boys cry if it means I can get some sleep. I hate it more than anything but it's worth it. Ryker learned to sleep on his own but with Jaxon I did the thing where you let them cry at night. It wasn't so bad and only took 3 nights and he was a sleeping angel. I just can't be a good mom when I get no sleep so I had to do it. I'm sure you're way better with baby's being up at night though. Good luck if you ever decide to try having him cry it out.
