It's aliiiiive! Today is the day my friends- check out the link below to finally find out what all the "Buzz" (see what I did there?... I crack myself up-lol) about Baily Bug is about. Thoughts on Thursday- Box Tops

So I've been feeling the need to rant on this subject for a while.  I hate box tops, labels for education, and whatever else I have to cut off of trash to help out my children's school.  There I said it.  But seriously... as if moms of school age children don't have enough to do already, now, instead of simply throwing packages in the garbage, we have to take extra time to cut out small, badly placed little labels on packages to make sure our kids' schools get a whole dime.  I know I probably sound ungrateful and what not but this really annoys me.  I admit that I still take the time to cut the dang little box tops off and I even get enticed but the "3 extra box tops" advertising but sometimes I would honestly rather just donate the $1 a month myself than have to worry about those dang little labels.  But, in keeping with my honestly here, I know I'll just keep taking 2 extra minutes to cut those dang labels and whine about it on my blog.  #firstworldproblems

Well thank you for yours;)  hey we are launching our kickstarter page for Baily Bug here in the next two weeks, as soon as we get the Baily Bug blanket from mom and get some Baily Bug shirts made.  So we will need your help and resources to get the word out to as many people as possible within the next month and a half.  And i know you know a lot of people in az and in wisconsin.  I need you to get behind this project 100%, as if you were the one doing it on your own!  Thats the only way we are going to raise enough money to fund Baily Bug.  Are you in?!"

Motivational Monday: Baptism Video

Yes, it's true... believe your eyes... I'm blogging again!  (I'm going to attempt it anyway.)

So Mondays will be a series called Motivational Monday, which is pretty self-explanatory.  For this week I chose a beautiful video we watched last night for our special baptism FHE in preparation for Baily's baptism on Saturday.  It really brings the Spirit and helped us really contemplate the meaning and blessing of baptism.

Need to get this out of my system...

So tired of people being disappointed in me and getting pulled in so many different directions.  I am one person, I am not a super hero and I am trying my best.  I'm not perfect and I'm very aware of that.  Please stop telling me I'm not trying hard enough or to "just get over" my issues.  Believe me, if it were that easy it would have been done.  Despite what some may think I don't talk about my problems because I love a good pity party and as a call for attention (at least, not the attention for praise).  I do post personal things for the kind of attention such as a call out for help so I don't do something stupid.  It's not for attention so I can think about how awesome I am and boast in myself.  I am trying so hard to "choose not to be offended" because I know that is the Lord's way.  I know I am so blessed and I'm sorry if some have chosen to be offended by me because of my complaints.  But once again, I'm not perfect, I've never claimed to be and I'm just trying to do my best.  Some days that simply means not giving up on my life.  If I annoy you or bother you, please just simply ignore me.  I am trying.  I am sorry if my efforts are not good enough but I'm tired of trying to please everyone.  I am working on issues, getting help. I am being proactive about trying to get better.  I know my posts may lead some to believe I'm just wallowing in self-pity with a "woe is me" attitude but that is not the case.  Sometime I just wish people could spend a few hours in my head so they could understand.  I wish they could spend a week in my shoes so they can see the efforts I am making to win the battles in my mind.  I'm sorry if it doesn't look like I'm doing enough from your point of view but once again, I am trying.  I'm not being passive and unproductive and lazy.  I truly believe one of my spiritual gifts is that I am non-judgmental.  I am compassionate.  I wish some people who are well-meaning and think they are helping me with tough love would just stand back and try to see things from my perspective.  Stop pushing me.  I'm so tired of feeling like my efforts are never enough.  I am just so tired... How grateful I am for a Savior who I know loves me and understands exactly what I'm going through.  I pray for the strength to never give up and to get things figured out and that I will be able to be a righteous wife, mother and live up to my potential.  That's what I strive for, that's what I want out of my life, even if that's not how you see me.

 "Hi. Do u think u could pick up joaquin for me? If u have plans no problem. Just thought i'd ask."

  Asked my friend to pick up J from Pre-School so I wouldn't have to wake up sleeping babies and she did.  I love her:)

10:45am Me To Babe:

"Can u take 1/2 day today?"

Wanted hubby to come home early so I could go to an app't I forgot about and also to the Dr.  He couldn't so I couldn't.

3:06pm Jesse To Me:

"Thanks Sarah, pics help me not miss them so much!"

"Get to an internist!!!  It's not your anemia.  Get your thyroid checked.... what is your hct let level?.  You can be jaundice from anemia or liver function problems.  Do you have any hepatitis?  You really need to be seen!!"

My Aunt Konny's response to some medical questions I have and a pic I sent her of my yellow fingernails.  Scary stuff:/  So grateful to have my Aunt Konny, though, and her medical expertise!

Ok... so I decided I also want to post this text conversation I had with my best friend/brother Beau, even though it's from last Thursday, because it left me smiling for days and I want to remember it.

 

 

Beau to Me:

"Thanks!  How r u my sister?  I miss the old days when we used to just hang out in eachothers rooms and u listened to my stomach make noises."

Me to Beau:

"Lol.  I miss those days too.  And playing with your wiggly earlobes."

 

 

Beau to Me:

"And spying on u guys thru the doorknobless door..."

Me to Beau:

"And me punchinng you so hard when u got caught.  Lol"

Beau to Me:

"Hey..... thats not funny"

Me to Beau:

"Crack the egg on the tramp and gpa's awesome tire swing"

 

 

Beau to Me:

"Yikes!!  Go to the basement!"

That was after I sent him a pic of our tornado clouds.

Beau to Me:

"And gpas stilts....and him walking up behind us and snapping us with rubberbands."

Me to Beau:

"I'm picking up the bug at school.  Its passing though.  Gpa's homemade salsa with chips and the cousins playing may i."

Beau to Me:

"And getting grpa back with a rubberband cuz he would always fall asleep watching basketball.  And bringing in little critters for grma to see."

Me to Beau:

"And her saying naughty words.  Car cities outside with amy and cool forts with booby traps"

Beau to Me:

"Aw man!  Car cities were my favorite thing in the world!!  And mom making special family home evening treats sometimes.... like mud pies with worms!"

Me to Beau:

"Hide and go seek in the dark and dancing with gabby."

Oh man we had such a great childhood!!
